Black Friday Madness!

Did anyone else participate in the Black Friday Madness? Somewhere around 4:45am, as I huddled outside waiting on Old Navy to open, I thought to myself "What am I doing?" I usually don't get up and go shopping the morning after Thanksgiving, but I thought I would give it a shot. I vow, however, not to take it to such extremes next year. I saw some people 'scouting' the stores and what they would want to come get on Friday a few days before the sales, and I know understand why. I found myself wading among the crowd at Bath and Body Works for 45 minutes just trying to decide what new fragrance to buy for my mom. It was much to hard to think at such an early hour of that day, on such little sleep!

I know my last post made reference to some pictures I would be uploading. Unfortunately, in my computer wizardry, I actually erased the photos before they were downloaded! Oh, the shame!

Vacation!

I just got back from the conference in Florida. The highlights of the trip were probaly going to Medieval Times, and getting to go to Dinner in the Sky. I plan on having pictures and maybe even video posted on my next blog. I also got to go on some new roller coasters and see some new video games. It was pretty awesome. It's times like this that I love my job. I have been pleased with the Advanced Composition class so far, but I really was expecting a class that would help me write better essays and papers, because I don't feel like I am prepared for that yet.

Orlando!

So, I am off tomorrow to sunny Orlando, Florida. There is a convention there called IAAPA. As far as conventions go, it's a blast. I expect to get a lot of swag! If you wanna check out how lucky I am, you may go to www.iaapa.org. While we are there, we are staying in a vacation home that our boss rented. I am excited. Unfortuately, I have to take my homework. Booo... But, we are going to MEDIEVAL TIMES! I can't wait.

I can Breathe!

So, Halloween is over, which means I am not working 60 hours a week anymore! That is good news, because I finally get to breathe! I am really looking forward to the group project, but am very intimidated by the idea of creating a web page! I have only done that once, and I wasn't very happy with the outcome. So, I am hoping that I have some talented groupmates.
